Police discover large haul of dagga and mandrax worth R15,000

A breakthrough for drug-related crimes.

Eldorado Park Police arrested two men aged 23 and 24 on February 7 following an anonymous tip-off from residents.

Police set up a task team and breached the house the men were believed to be operating from.

The men were subdued by police and a search revealed a large haul of dagga and mandrax with an estimated street value of R15,000.00.

Police arrested the pair who are being detained at the Eldorado Park police holding cells after which they will appear at the Kliptown Magistrates Court.

Major general Patricia Rampota lauded police for this latest blow to drug dealers and said, “This is indeed a breakthrough for drug-related crimes in Eldorado Park.”
